Efficus Software started out in 2018 while our founder, Ben was working in Melbourne. It all began with a small piece of software called "PDF Scraper" which allowed engineers to generate tributary areas from geometry defined on PDF markups. What began as a clunky, hard-to-use program found its turning point during the Covid-19 lockdowns. With time to rethink and rebuild, it evolved into the software now known as Tribli.

Efficus software was founded by Ben Howie. Ben is an accomplished, chartered structural engineer with over 13 years experience in the industry and has worked on projects in a range of sectors including residential, commercial, education, infrastructre, entertainment and industrial.

Our vision is to provide accurate and simple-to-use software to structural engineers in a way that compliments existing design and drafting workflows. Efficus Software aims to aid the digitisation of traditional engineering processes whilst maintaining the human touch and design clarity of traditional engineering processes.
As the industry works towards a future of digital design and delivery, it is critical that software used by structural engineers seamlessly slots into the design pipeline by providing interoperability with 3rd party software in a non-proprietary way.
